Today, my bike is a Surly Slush-Check. We rode about 13.5 miles and it was fun! Nice having the weather above zero - I think there's about a 40° difference between yesterday and today. I was still pretty cold when I got home, but in a good way. And my thighs HURT. In a good way.

we went out today as well. the weather was awesome but cleaning the bikes off to bring them upstairs...well, I wish it would stop snowing!

I'm starting to like the feel of riding in the snow, just not the mess it makes.

I think you picked the better day for riding - the wind yesterday was brutal. Cleaning off the bikes... yeah, that sucks. Chris convinced me that leaving my bike in the garage was better since the snow wouldn't melt off and leave salt on it. I'm unconvinced.

Riding in the snow is fun! I think my favorite part of it is the combination of awe from non-biking friends and the weird looks you get from people in cars.
